How do I make sure my password is secure?

There are certain criteria your password will need to meet in order to be accepted:

• Minimum of eight characters long and contain at least one upper case character, one lower case character, one number and one special character,
• Can't contain your name, email address, more than two consecutive identical characters or the word 'password',
• Can't be the same as any of your six previous passwords.

What applications can I submit using TMW Online?

As well as standard Buy to Let purchase and remortgage applications, you can also submit Limited Company, Further Advance and Porting applications using TMW Online (opens in a new window).

How do I key income details?

For Buy to Let purchase and remortgage applications, income should be keyed within the DIP.

For all other applications, income should be keyed during FMA.

Please enter the amount of gross rental income each applicant receives. You can also key multiple other income sources, regardless of employment type.

How and when can I amend the DIP?

You can amend details on the DIP (excluding applicant personal details), at any time prior to submission of the full application. This can be done by clicking 'Amend DIP' from the DIP response screen or 'Back to DIP' at any point during the full mortgage application.

If you amend details on the DIP, you'll lose your current DIP decision status and will need to re-run through the DIP pages, amend and resubmit.

Can I edit a declined DIP?

Yes, you can do this by following the steps above.

If I amend the DIP, will it leave an additional footprint on my client's credit file?

If you're editing a DIP within 60 days of the initial credit search, an additional search won't be carried out on the applicant's credit file.

How can I track my submitted application?

Open the case from your list on the homepage. You'll then be taken straight into case tracking and you can pick the relevant area you would like an update on.

All valuation and case requirement updates will be in the valuation and assessment section. If you want an update on the offer, you'll need to open the offer section and for updates on completion of the case you'll need to open the completion section.

How many documents can I upload to the case and what's the maximum file size?

An individual document can be a maximum of 5MB. If you're uploading more than one document, a maximum of 20 documents can be added to each requirement, with a maximum combined file size of 25MB.
